A quadriptych wall art piece exploring themes of homoeroticism, sexual commodification, erasure, segmentation, and severance—these sgraffito ceramic wall panels were made with a black clay body and a buff clay layered on top, which was then carved away to reveal the clay beneath. Patches of color were painted with underglaze.
